Our salmon grow in the clean and very cold Atlantic on the Norwegian west coast. Due to the continuing currents along the coast, the salmon are constantly moving, which gives them a particularly firm flesh. The salmon is filleted locally and then brought directly to us over our supplier at the Hamburg fish market, where we process it after a long-time developed pickling process to the Graved salmon.
We send the salmon uncut as whole page, since the test tastings of the last 15 months have resulted that the salmon is not only liked to be cut thinly but also cut from the head into thicker pieces, such as a small "Salmon chocolate", a special taste experience . The herbs you can leave on the salmon depending on the taste or also shake down when they appear too intense.
The salmon trout are bred in one of the best breeding farms of our region, the Lüneburger Heide. Here the animals are filleted directly after the catch and delivered to a certified smoking enterprise in the Nordheide. There, the salmon trout are smoked and marinated in a completely new environmentally friendly and gentle process. Here too, experts in the industry have confirmed that this is a top product in monthly tastings.
Both salmon and salmon trout are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and are therefore extremely healthy: they have a positive effect on blood fats, promote blood circulation and can also reduce blood pressure at elevated levels. Omega 3 fatty acids are also important for brain metabolism and function, which promote a positive mood in us.
